Launch Therapeutics (“Launch Therapeutics,” “Company,” “We,” or “us”) values your privacy. We are an operating company that partners with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to develop clinical assets.

5. We have never received any legal or government demands for user information.

Contact Information. We do not collect information from you unless you opt to use the email links provided on the website to contact us with information such as your name, phone number, and email address.

Communication. To respond to your inquiries and requests; send updates alerts, or notifications pertinent to our activities.

We do not engage in any data retention practices.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.  Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites.  We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites.

Security

We have implemented safeguards to protect the personal information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.  Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.  You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared device.

The right to access – You have the right to request from our Company copies of your personal data.  We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate.  You also have the right to request our Company complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Recourse to a Data Protection Authority Under GDPR

Launch Therapeutics acknowledges your right under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR. Below is the language outlining your right to seek recourse through a DPA:

Right to Lodge a Complaint. If you are a resident of the European Union or a country in the European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority if you believe that Launch Therapeutics’ processing of your personal data infringes on the GDPR.  This right exists irrespective of any other administrative or judicial remedies you might have.

Contacting a Data Protection Authority. To exercise this right, you can contact the Data Protection Authority in your country of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.  Contact information for Data Protection Authorities in the EU can typically be found on their respective websites.

Changes to this Policy

This Policy is current as of the Effective Date set forth above.  We may change this Policy from time to time, so please be sure to check back periodically.  We will post to the most current version of this Policy on our website.  If we make any changes to this Policy that materially affect our practices with regard to the personal information we have previously collected from you, we will endeavor to provide you with notice in advance of such change, such as via email or prominent notice on the website.
